Defeating Healers and Shields in Tower Rush

Separate and conquer. Splash damage units are decent, but often lack the burst damage required.

If left unchecked, a single dedicated healer can provide thousands of points of 'free' hitpoints to an attacking push, making it virtually unstoppable.

This is exactly what the opponent wants; while you struggle to kill the Giant, the Healer is constantly undoing all your hard work.

Target Priority

If you successfully eliminate the support, the massive tank becomes a slow, expensive sitting duck that your towers can easily dispatch.

Alternatively, a perfectly timed heavy spell like a Fireball or Poison can instantly vaporize the support units while simultaneously damaging the tank.

The Cheese Pushes

Healing units are often paired with incredibly gimmicky, high-risk spells like Clone or Rage to create an overwhelming, chaotic push.

Cloned units always have exactly one hitpoint, regardless of the original unit's health, making them incredibly fragile to any form of area damage.

ResponseExecution Detail
Area DenialThe absolute safest method; guarantees the death of fragile backline units without risking your own troops
AssassinationWait until the tank walks past the bridge, then drop a Valkyrie directly behind the tank to separate the support

Patience and Precision

The visual clutter and constant healing numbers can cause panic, leading to terrible card placements and wasted spells.

Once you learn to surgically remove the support structure of an enemy push, the most terrifying meta decks become trivial to defend.
